This office is responsible for maintaining the database of motor vehicle traffic crash information. We receive, process, and provide information on reportable crashes on public roadways.

Accident Records provides the statistics necessary to identify problems, assist in countermeasures, and evaluate applied countermeasures to promote safe roadways in South Dakota.
