The men and women of the South Dakota Highway Patrol stand ready to respond to any orders handed out to them by the Governor or Colonel of the Highway Patrol. The Highway Patrol spends many hours preparing themselves for the unknown. Whether it is civil disobedience or assistance in helping finding a lost person, the Highway Patrol will always assist without any apprehensions.
