Access and Visitation Grant Information

The Victims' Services Program provides Access and Visitation Grant funds to agencies that provide services to non-custodial parents, custodial parents and their children. The funds provide scholarships for income-eligible families to help support and facilitate noncustodial parent access to and visitation with their children.

Applications for the Access and Visitation Grant are only accepted by mail, as stated in the grant announcement.

Agencies who are currently not funded with the Access and Visitation Grant, but who are considering applying for the grant are strongly encouraged to contact the Victims’ Services Program Manager prior to grant announcements being released for the upcoming funding cycle.

The Access and Visitation Center Grant solicitation is normally released in March of each year, with funding announcements made in late April.

Funds are awarded by the US Department of Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. Funds are awarded to programs to provide services to non-custodial parents, custodial parents and their children. The funds provide scholarships for income-eligible families to help support and facilitate noncustodial parent access to and visitation with their children.
